Chuck Fryberger
Owner & Principal Cinematographer
Chuck has had a camera in his hand since the early age of 5, when he would load up his mom and dad's Nikon and shoot black and white photos of birds, pets, and just about anything that caught his attention. At the age of 15, he started helping friends with soundtracks for sports videos, and at 18 he purchased his first video camera and started shooting, editing, and writing music for short videos. In 2006, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Denver with a BS in Music Technology. Chuck has traveled extensively as a sponsored rock climber, and has found himself in the pages of National Geographic Adventure, Men's Journal, Rock and Ice, Urban Climber, and Climbing Magazine - having appeared twice on Climbing's cover. His passion for adventure has led him to develop a unique style of documentary film making, one which has become the basis for an ongoing series of core action sports videos. Chuck has made a study of cinematography and digital film making for the last 6 years, and he is happiest when he is in the field, the light is good, and the camera is rolling.

Nelson Carayannis
Cinematographer & Assistant Editor
Nelson has been making videos since he was just a kid with a video camera. His first efforts to produce a skate video yielded the nationally-distributed Unforseen Shadows. For years he has acted as Assistant Cinematographer
and general grip on Chuck's productions, and was finally hired full-time in 2010. He oversees much of our core action sports cinematography, and spends his weekends tweaking out new camera rigs or shooting comedy sketches
with his regular gang of misfits. Nelson's edgy approach to cinematography and life in general make him a great fit for the team. An expert electrician, he has been known to fix complex lighting instruments - just moments prior
to the camera rolling - with little more than a pocket-knife and some gaffers tape. Nelson is a veritable treasure-trove of life experience, and he claims to have held over 23 jobs during his working life. Nelson also is the real-life
alter-ego of Duane, the union cameraman that often shows up in our spoofs.
Beverage of choice – ONE...double brandy, just one.

Benjamin Garst
Project Specialist
Benjamin Garst first shot and edited skateboard and snowboard videos as a teenager. Shortly after high school, he found himself self-producing, directing and editing his own narrative films. These experiences opened the flood gates, and his passion for storytelling led him to attend film school, and in 2010 he received his BFA in Film Writing and Directing from The University of Colorado at Denver. While in school, he worked on dozens of productions in numerous different capacities, while still producing and directing his own films on the side. Benjamin is most passionate about writing and directing, but takes every opportunity to shoot and do post-production as well. His work has screened at the Vail Film Festival and the Starz Denver Film Festival, among others. Recently, he has branched out by teaching film to teenagers in local workshops. If Ben is not writing a script, making or watching a film, reading a book or magazine about film, or otherwise pondering film, he's probably enjoying a fresh cup of coffee or pursuing some other art form.
Beverage of choice – Irish Whiskey, neat.
